Lifechart is based on an idea by Martin Surgey, who has run his own full-service advertising and design agency, Surgey Marketing Communications, for over 20 years in Sussex, working for a wide range of clients.

It is this experience of over two decades combined with a passion for recording the lives of people and interesting things that led to the Lifechart idea. A team of Lifechart designers share the Surgey studio to produce the commissioned charts, before printing, framing, packing and despatching to the customers.
